The goddess Iusaaset or Iusaas, was a primordial deity in Ancient Egyptian religion, a feminine counterpart to the male creator deity Atum. Iusaaset was depicted as a woman with a scarab beetle on her head. One of the principal deities of the thirteenth nome of Lower Egypt in the apex of the southeastern Delta, she was worshipped in the city of Iunu (Greek Heliopolis), as was her consort Atum. Iusaaset was associated with the acacia tree and acacias stood at the sanctuary dedicated to Iusaaset at Heliopolis.
