Attic Black-Figure Lekythos

An ancient Attic Greek black-figure lekythos, an olive oil vessel, with an image of a draped male holding a wine cup seated before a draped female with vines in between.

Athens, Attica.
Ca. 530 - 500 BC.
Height: 6 1/4 in. (7.2 cm).

The lekythos was used to hold olive oil in antiquity and was often left as a grave offering.
