Roman Oil Lamp: Cuttlefish

An ancient Roman large pottery oil lamp with an image of two cuttlefish in the center discus.

Ca. 50 - 100 AD.
Length: 5 in. (13 cm).

A full lamp of this type would burn for two or three hours.
