An ancient Roman pottery oil lamp with a loop handle and extended nozzle, with a raised maker’s mark, MYRO on the underside.

Ca. 1st - 3rd century AD.
Length: 4 1/2 in. (11.5 cm).

A full lamp of this type would burn for two or three hours.Loeschcke type IX.
