Roman Gold Hoop Earrings

A pair of ancient Late Roman gold hoop earrings made of solid heavily twisted gold wire with a large floral rosette at the front. Each rosette with a central ball and added decoration. At the base a triangular sheet with decorative granules and a small pyramid of granulation. Original ear wires wrapped and closed at the top, 22 karat gold ear wires added for modern wear.
