Italo-Corinthian Alabastron

An ancient Italo-Corinthian Greek pottery alabastron of long tapering form with a pointed base, the body painted with four registers of waterfowl. Attributed to the Michigan Painter.

Etruria.
Ca. 575 - 550 BC.
Height: 6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm).
Formerly in the Tollmann collection, Cologne, Germany, acquired, in the 1960s - 70s.
