Roman Bronze Pine Cone Balsamarium

An ancient Roman bronze balsamarium in the form of a pine cone on a raised disk base, the looped handle is attached to loops emanating from acorns at the sides.

Ca. 2nd - 3rd century AD.
Height with handle: 6 1/4 in. (15.8 cm).
