Wari Fish Bowl

A Pre-Columbian Wari high-walled bowl painted with stylized fish circling around the bottom of the basin, with three pairs of fish in panels on the inner wall of the vase. The outside wall is decorated with a geometric pattern of skate heads, painted nose to nose, creating a diamond pattern.

Southern Peru.
