The Mezcala culture is the name given to a Meso-American culture from Guerrero state of southwestern Mexico. The culture developed during the Middle and Late Pre-classic periods continued into the Classic period. Unlike other areas of Western Mexico, the Mezcala culture shows signs of influence from Central Mexico.
