The Mezcala culture is the name given to a Mesoamerican culture from Guerrero state of southwestern Mexico. The culture developed during the Middle and Late Preclassic periods continued into the Classic period.Unlike other areas of Western Mexico, the Mezcala culture shows signs of influence from Central Mexico.
