Eastern Greek.
Ca. 600 - 550 BC.
Height: 3 1/2 in. (8.9 cm).

Ionian workshops in the Greek Islands and the cities of of the Eastern Aegean Sea produced a regional style of pottery beginning in the 7th century BC. Specific workshops at Clazomenae, Ephesos, Miletus, Chios and Samos developed a variety of distinctive styles throughout the 6th century BC.
