An ancient Egyptian Middle Kingdom burnished red ware pottery ring flask with a broad disc rim and looped handle.

Middle Kingdom.
Ca. 1550 - 1303 BC.
Height: 4 in. (10 cm).

Ring flasks were typically used for carrying religious oils or perfumes collecting and/or using at pilgrimage sites and were made created during the height of Egyptian artistic development.
