An ancient Egyptian limestone stele relief fragment with a partially preserved Hieroglyphic text in three lines beneath a throne, naming Senj-res, Mayor of Thebes, and Pharaoh Thuthmosis I.
New Kingdom, 18th dynasty, reign of Tuthmosis I,
Ca. 1504 - 1491 BC.
Height: 5 5/8 in. (14.4 cm).
According to Professor Schlögl’s reading, this is a stele donated by a certain Senj-res, who was mayor of Thebes and later viceroy of Kush.
