An ancient Cycladic Greek marble fragment of the lower torso and legs from the pubic triangle to the ankles.
The role and meaning of these figures in Cycladic culture is not known. While they have been found almost exclusively in graves, it is not clear whether they were made specifically for burials. The Spedos type, named after an Early Cycladic cemetery on Naxos, was widely distributed throughout the Cyclades and beyond.
